XBox 360 Elite

Gerade gesehen: Seit dem 29. April 2007 ist eine neue Version der XBox 360 in den USA erhältlich, die XBox Elite. Leider ist dies noch nicht das von mir erhoffte Update. Die Elite ist nun schwarz und hat vor allem eine stark vergrößerte Festplatte (120GB) und einen HDMI Ausgang mit -im Gegensatz zur PS3- mitgeliefertem HDMI Kabel. Dies sind zwar auch ziemlich interessante Features, aber das ersehnte Chip Update mit der Hoffnung auf weniger Lärm ist mit der Version offenbar immer noch nicht vollzogen und ich werde also wohl immer noch ein wenig warten, bis ich mir die XBox 360 kaufe.

Ein Termin für den Europa Release steht wohl immer noch nicht fest, nach Japan kommt sie laut Golem wohl am 11. Oktober.
